My first series "Rocks in Motion" was inspired by Ross Bleckner's "Constellation" paintings. I wanted to capture the suggestion of spirits within nature, seemingly spinning like stars within a vibrant galaxy. My images were mostly taken at various "Rock and Gem" shows across the country and uses nature as a metaphor for spiritual transformation, refuge and renewal. I enjoyed mixing mediums: photography, metallic leafing and resin.
